Fungent cream is an independent remedy for the treatment of fungal infections and is recognized as one of the best antifungal drugs in Slovenia. To achieve the best result, the cream should be applied according to the enclosed instructions.
Fungent Antifungal Foot Cream: How to Use
- Wash and dry the feet. You can do foot baths, the skin will become more receptive to the penetration of cream components.
- Before using the cream, it is desirable to free the affected areas from fragments of dead skin and nails. Disinfected scissors or tweezers cut off the scales and crumbling plaque layer.
- The cream is applied only to completely dry skin, since excess water can prevent the components of the composition from penetrating into the deep layers of the affected areas. Fungent has a light, but quite oily consistency, which facilitates the distribution of the composition.
- 1 drop is enough to completely cover an area of 7 cm2. When applying, it is necessary to capture healthy areas of the skin around the fungus in order to prevent its spread.
- Do not use large amounts of cream. First, it forms the thinnest film on the surface, which prevents substances from evaporating and protects the application site from moisture and sweat. Secondly, the same film simply will not allow the components to penetrate further into the deeper layers of the dermis.
- The cream is quickly absorbed, it takes 5-6 minutes. It is not recommended to wear socks after that, so that the foot does not sweat, creating a favorable breeding ground for the fungus.
Mycoses are difficult to treat, so you can not count on an instant effect. The recommended treatment duration is 30 days. If you plan to extend the course, you need to take a break of 7-14 days between them. This is done in order to allow the body to cleanse itself of toxic substances that have arisen as a result of the vital activity of the fungus. 15 days are enough for prevention. This is enough to start regeneration processes and protect skin cells in the future.
Indications for use of Fungent cream
There are several dozen varieties of pathogens of mycoses in humans. Accordingly, each of them has its own characteristics of development and impact on the body. But many of them have similar symptoms, by which it can be understood that the foot, toes or nails are affected by the fungus. Indications for use of Fungent cream may include such phenomena as:
- red or pale spots;
- wet or dry rash;
- the appearance of ulcers and cracks;
- itching, burning;
- pain;
- flaky areas;
- swelling;
- increased sweating;
- strong unpleasant odor;
- clouding, yellowing or darkening of the nail plates.
Contraindications
The drug should be used with caution in people allergic to lavender or oregano (oregano). Fungent cream is contraindicated in burns, infected wounds, trophic ulcers and in the presence of malignant formations on the skin of the legs.
